This Platecoil® Bank is in the final stages of welding and is one of 40 banks that will be used in a Marine Cargo Holding application. The barge they will be installed on is in the Gulf of Mexico and will use the Platecoil banks to maintain the oil at a certain temperature. Platecoil banks, installed in cargo holds, maintain cargo temperature at 33°C to 160°C (93°F to 320°F) using steam, hot water or thermal fluids. They are easier to clean, lighter weight, install very quickly and do not interfere with coating application in cargo holds.
